We are pleased to announce KISTI (South Korea) has joined QuakeCoRE as an Affiliate Organisation.
KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information) is a government-funded advanced computing and data science research centre, which was founded to support multi-disciplinary science and engineering research projects from academic institutions and Korea’s high-tech industry. KISTI has recently commissioned the world’s 15th-most powerful Cray Supercomputer, and positioned itself as the national leader in high performance computing (HPC) and big data and artificial intelligence research. Collaboration between KISTI and QuakeCoRE is expected to see the latest computing technology applied to the ground motion simulation and damage prediction model that QuakeCoRE has been developing.
Brendon Bradley is the key contact at QuakeCoRE for our collaboration with KISTI.
QuakeCoRE Affiliate Organisation status is available to international research centres and institutions that have a significant ongoing collaborative research relationship with QuakeCoRE.
