Abstract:
The inaugural role of the Chief Science Advisor for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) offers an important opportunity to shape the future of science advice for emergency management in Aotearoa. This seminar will share reflections on the key focus areas for the Chief Science Advisor, and presents opportunities for QuakeCoRE and the wider research community to effectively engage at the research-policy interface to support Disaster Risk Reduction in Aotearoa.
